Sylvia's Story

Life

Life is being able to see
Seeing the trees, flowers, wildlife and colours
People you talk with
Life is being able to hear
Hearing the birds sing, the winds whistling, people talking
Transport moving
Life is being able to talk
Talking to people to animals, hearing people’s worries
Their happiness, their advice, joking together
Life is being able to walk
Walk without pain
To visit friends, go shopping, walk in the garden
Life is being able to do things
Having a clear brain, to be able to cook, wash, iron
Sew, be creative and cuddle, help others in need
Life is finding a sole mate
Working together, loving together, worrying together
Lovely to die together
Life is lucky enough to make a family
Being able to love your family, help your family
I am a human being that has all these things
But sometimes in life, your mind can’t cope
Things get too much
You can only hope others understand when this
happens, and forgive the pain and suffering
That has been put to them in these circumstances
